Love’s Dance and More is a family owned seamstress company. They specialize in alterations, custom costumes, and special occasion attire.
As a board member of the AIAC (Associated Italian American Charitables), I donated my services to the silent auction at our Annual AIAC Dinner Dance. Love’s Dance and More won the bid in the auction and were very excited to begin re-branding their family owned company.
The following day I received an email from Carol, the owner, with a briefing on her company, a list of competitors and some design ideas she had brewing. I responded with a suggested timeline, additional ideas and an appreciative thank you for participating at the Annual AIAC Dinner Dance.
In the first week, I began researching area competitors, the industry itself and new design trends. I also began sketching up ideas and delivering a handful of them to Carol for initial feedback. Her responses were very positive and informative.
In the following weeks, I refined some of my sketches and showed her five comps. These comps were critiqued and analyzed with her associates. She came back with even more feedback and a few more suggestions. Taking this information I began finalizing the logo she favored. She approved the final logo design.
Since then, she has been very pleased with her new logo and has used it for local advertising, embroidered logos and more.
